Small Business Basics 101

Here is a quick and simple checklist for you to consider when planning to start or get involved in a business opportunity:

* Start From Where You Are!
- Take a personal inventory of your skills, talents, likes and dislikes that can affect your choices of business opportunities. For example, do you like being out and meeting new people or, do you prefer to be in a stable location and not have to talk directly with prospective customers.
- make a list of "transferable skills" that you have developed from other jobs or training. List the ones that you may need for the "Biz Op" you are considering.

* Only Accept The Biz Op That Meets Your Requirements!
- So often we have been conditioned to accept the "job position" that accepted us. Surveys have been done that show an incredible 80 % of college educated working people ARE NOT working in the field that was their Major or 1st Career Choice! Instead, many people accepted the first job that accepted them!
- With a new Business, it is even more important that you choose wisely! In your business, it is all about YOU! You will be getting married to it. You will live, eat and breath it everyday. The business you choose is YOUR RESPOSIBILITY, not someone else's. So, be very picky and set up your list of "Pros & Cons" for each Biz Op you investigate.

* Set your Benchmarks for yourself and your Biz Op.
- If the business idea is good for you but, the average income of business people in that Biz Op is lower than your Income Benchmark, look carefully at what is needed to achieve your income goal or, look elsewhere!
- We all have some level of conditioning to expect reward for the things that we do. From the time we were little girls & boys and our parents gave us praise or other forms of compensation for a job well done, we have developed a sense of value or self worth.
- It is extremely important to establish YOUR Self Worth in your Business! This point has many applications that can be explored over time. It comes in handy where you have to make Time Management decisions. For example, is it worth your time value for you to be doing a certain function of your business or, is it better to pay someone else to that function while you work on those things that are vital for you to do in your business!? Simply put, if you value your time at say, $50 an hour. How much time should you spend doing chores in your business that are worth $10 an hour that could be paid to an assistant and free you to maximize your $50 an hour work. That will maximize your Income to time spend!

More "Biz Op" Ideas and comments to come. Feel free to make your comments, ask questions or help provide helpful answers to our Biz Op Entrepreneurs!

Blessings,

GIVE THE GIFT THAT CAN KEEP ON GIVING!

With your busy schedule you may have missed it! You may have not noticed the email I sent to you offering the opportunity to catch a major business enhancement opportunity at the "ground floor level!"

Or, perhaps, you noticed it but, did not know or understand what it was all about and why I was sending you that email.

Or, perhaps, you looked at my email, liked what you saw but just have not gotten around to "taking action" on it or contacting me for more info!?

Well, this is your chance to catch up and do yourself a favor! I do not want you to say to me in the future, "hey, why didn't you let me know about this early on!" Or, "I wish I had acted on your offer to get in on the ground floor but, didn't!"

I want to be very clear about something here, I will NOT be sending you several annoying follow up emails about this "opportunity!" Frankly, I do not have the time to do that. So, I wanted to be clear about how important it is to let me know if you have interest but:

* did not see the original email
* liked the idea but have NOT Taken Action!
* have more questions
* need to understand how this offer helps you
* do not have the means to act now
* are afraid of what you "think this offer is"
* want to know what it is all about

Or,
Have no interest in your future in the 21st Century! Therefore, have no interest in the offer.

Let me know with a direct reply either way. * If you express that you have NO Interest, I will remove you from any future emails or communication about this offer from me.
* If you fit any other category above or not mentioned please, LET ME KNOW RIGHT AWAY!

Great opportunities do not wait around! The train is leaving the station on this one on December 31, 2009!

Gee, if you have bothered to read this far, by now you may be trying to figure out what I am referring to! It is the GLOBALPRENEURS BUSINESS MODEL & SERVICES OPPORTUNITY! If you missed the previous email or, just have not gotten around to reviewing the offer, NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT!

I see us being able to utilize this medium very effectively within our respective businesses & professions.  Presentations and decision making will be more complete, quicker comprehension via Visual Video Presentations of Executive Summaries, and Transaction Summaries or any other business communications ideas.  We will be able to set, record and distribute these materials as easily as sending emails!

People, it is time that we step into the 21st Century way of doing business!  If you will need to order any accessory equipment, you can do so by going to my Amazon eStore at: globalmmasters.blogspot.com <http://globalmmasters.blogspot.com>   look for our "Video Conferencing Equipment aStore" in the top left hand column of the Blog.  Otherwise, you can just go to my webstore for the equipment at: astore.amazon.com/glbl1-20 <http://astore.amazon.com/glbl1-20>
