Love shopping online? Do your friends clue you in on where they found a great deal? I suggest you step back from your shopping frenzy, look objectively around that site's home page and see whether they have an affiliate program. Most likely they do.
Before starting my blogs and including affiliate products on my sites, I never even knew such an opportunity existed. Now I see them on most sites. Recently I started using my free membership at Wall Street Survivor to do paper trades. After selecting my new stock buys for the day, I happened to scroll to the bottom of the page. Guess what I saw? That lovely word "affiliate." That was an eye-opener that prompted me to post this. Even in industries or areas that you would not expect it, there it is.
Businesses are using the power of affiliates to get advertising; advertising that they do not pay for until AFTER the sale is made. How sweet is that? So set up a site, register as an affiliate with companies where your friends regularly shop and ask your friends to buy via YOUR site. Then, if they "see the light" and want to become an affiliate you can reciprocate and buy your items at THEIR site. NOTE: some companies do not allow their affiliates to purchase through their own site and earn a commission; be sure to check their terms and conditions first.
Likewise, if you have a product that you are marketing, spending loads of money on key words and pay-per-clicks perhaps you should consider partnering with affiliates.
